Duties: As a Branch Manager (SES Band 1), you will be a key member of the senior leadership team and support the CEO and Executive with the provision of strategic advice and provide leadership, management and a sense of purpose and vision for the ARC. You will manage and implement a range of high-priority projects and ARC programs, participate in cross-government and external stakeholder forums and actively contribute to the agency’s corporate leadership and to building high performance.
This process will be used to create a merit pool of successful candidates, which will be valid for 18 months from the date of advertisement.
To be a strong contender for these roles, you will have strong leadership and people management capability, together with program management, stakeholder engagement and a demonstrated record in the provision of strategic advice. You will be client-focused with the ability to manage competing demands and work collaboratively to meet tight deadlines. In addition to your excellent communication skills and innovative approach, you will have well-developed judgment and a personal style that engenders trust and respect.
