IP Australia has unveiled a new online services platform which will eventually replace its existing eServices set-up.

According to IP Australia, the new platform provides a more modern, efficient digital experience that meets better the needs of its clients.

The Agency said it was committed to putting customers at the centre of the new “large-scale transformation”.

“We are giving our customers access to the new IP Australia online services platform to try our new digital features and streamlined services,” it said.

“Using your existing eServices account login details, you can access the new experience to undertake the new streamlined trade mark renewal process.”

It said visitors to the platform would find a user-friendly interface with new capabilities; an improved experience that focused on self-service; more streamlined processes for applying and managing IP rights; and a more compatible service across different devices.

“Our services will shift to the new platform in a staged approach over the next 12 months so you will soon start to see changes when accessing our services,” it said.

“There should not be any interruptions to our services; we appreciate your patience while we make these improvements.”

IP Australia is asking for feedback on the new platform.

“All feedback will be collected anonymously and will help us further optimise the user experience,” it said.

The new platform can be accessed on the IP Australia website.
