Australia’s whole-of-Government website management platform, GovCMS, is preparing to host a week of online events to help Departments and Agencies explore everything it has to offer.
In a statement, GovCMS said its GovCMS Week Online (Take 2!) would offer a series of short online events from 15 to 19 November.
“Due to COVID-19 we have been unable to host our annual ‘Mega-meetups’ and celebrate our yearly anniversary with our community in person,” GovCMS said.
“In light of this and in an effort to avoid online event fatigue, GovCMS now host Week Online,” it said.
“Our Week Online events include several short online events over the course of an entire week.”
GovCMS said this would allow Public Servants to pick and choose the events that were most relevant to them.
“With interactive and informative events for everyone, Week Online provides the perfect chance for the community to reconnect online,” it said.
“These events won’t just provide an overview on some highly relevant topics, but they’ll also bring the community together in a way we haven’t done for a while.”
The Service said a lot had happened over the past year with improvements to the platform and many Government Agencies launching new websites through GovCMS.
It said the Week Online events would allow the GovCMS community to take a step, celebrate what they had achieved and turn their attention to the future.
“This community is what makes GovCMS great.”
“So, get ready to take a break, reconnect and save the date for one, or more, of our GovCMS Week Online (Take 2!) events,” it said.
The program of events for GovCMS’s Week Online is expected to be released closer to the date.
