The eSafety Commissioner has become the 300th Government site to be hosted on the GovCMS digital platform.
The Agency is the first in the world dedicated solely to online safety and its website is the front door to its reporting services, advice and guidance.
Head of ICT and Digital at eSafety, Kathryn King said she had initial reservations over whether creating the Agency’s website on the GovCMS platform would meet the requirements of eSafety’s various audiences.
However, she now feels differently.
“The platform allowed us to deliver on our vision and its out-of-the-box security management was especially important to us to ensure our services are not only fit for purpose but secure,” Ms King said.
In a statement, GovCMS said that since it was launched in March 2014, the owners of 300 sites had made the choice to migrate from various platforms to GovCMS.
“With the digital community in Government joining forces to build content-rich sites, sharing code and design templates, we get so much further,” the statement said.
“There is more functionality available to Agencies and a stronger support network that they can use.”
