The Digital Transformation Agency (DTA) has added training to its Digital Marketplace to help Agencies develop the skills they need to progress digital transformation across Government.
The Agency said the new Digital Training Marketplace now made it easier for Agencies to find the training and provider that best suited their needs.
“It also gives small and medium-sized enterprises easier access to Government opportunities,” the DTA said.
“The Digital Training Marketplace is supported by new learning design standards that have been developed with the Australian Public Service Commission and experts across Government.”
It said these will help Agencies and training providers ensure training is engaging and high quality.
The DTA said the current learning design standards included agile delivery, content design, digital foundations and user research, with the remaining standards to be released next month.
It said anyone who worked in Government and needed digital services could become a buyer.
“Our buyers are from across Local, State, Territory and Federal Governments, including entities such as the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, the National Museum of Australia and some universities,” the DTA said.
It said all that is needed to create a buyer account is an email address that ends in “.gov.au”.
The DTA said all sellers on the Digital Marketplace Panel had been assessed for corporate stability, digital expertise and value for money.
“You still need to consider if a seller is suitable for your needs, and perform any required due diligence,” it said.
