The Department of the Premier and Cabinet (DPC) has unveiled three new digital solutions to make it easier for South Australians to manage their travel, health and proof of vaccinations now that State borders have reopened.
Announced by Premier, Steven Marshall, the Department has launched a new EntryCheck SA app, accessible at SA.GOV.AU, to replace the Cross Border Travel Registration application and SA Health exemption form; the HealthCheck SA app to support COVID-19 active cases and close contact; and updated its mySA Gov app to integrate vaccination certificates.
Mr Marshall said the new EntryCheck SA process would ensure borders to international and interstate arrivals opened in a safe and controlled way.
“Based on the information provided, vaccinated individuals arriving from interstate areas with community transmission and from overseas, may also be prompted to use the new HealthCheck SA app as part of their entry conditions,” he said.
“Individuals will be sent a link to download the HealthCheck SA mobile app, which will help monitor daily symptoms and guide users through any testing and quarantine requirements, depending on the individual’s circumstances.”
Mr Marshall said South Australians could also integrate their digital COVID-19 vaccination certificate into their mySA Gov app, making it easier for individuals to show their vaccination status at businesses, venues and events where proof of vaccination was required.
He said once integrated, vaccination status would display each time individuals used the COVID-SAfe Check-In function, providing a seamless solution for individuals and businesses.
