The Department of the Premier and Cabinet (DPC) has launched a recruitment drive to fill 21 new technology and digital roles to deliver customer service and make it easier for people to do business with Government.
In a statement, the Department said the planned program included digitising processes and removing unnecessary pain points to make sure customers received what they needed the first time.
It said the 21 jobs were available across 11 different positions ranging from Senior Service Designer; Principal Developer; Scrum Master; Site Reliability Engineer (SRE); Digital Project Manager; Test Automation Engineer; CRM Developer; UX Designer; Graduate UX Designer; Solution Architect; and Data/Integration Architect.
DPC said it was aware that it could be difficult for individuals and businesses to transact with Government.
“The Government Services Portal unit is committed to improving the way individuals and businesses interact with Government through a consent-based digital portal that will, over time, bring together a user’s interactions with Government into a convenient single location,” the Department said.
It said the multi-year, multi-Agency initiative adopted a human-centred design approach, consulting with users as services were redesigned for a better experience.
