Walking the treacherous line between continued existence and being in love, here’s a spy who takes on an assignment in a desperate effort to revive his career.

Ari Ben-Zion (Meyers, The Tudors, Match Point) stars as an undercover Mossad agent who is haunted by the death of his son. He is assigned to smuggle a chemical weapons scientist out of Syria. He goes undercover as a German businessman. His infiltration mission goes wrong, and within days he has to find ways to survive. Ari reaches out to a deep cover agent code named, The Angel, only to discover that he is a hostage to fortune in a much bigger plan.

Ari’s non-natural love interest, a globe-trotting USA Today photographer, Kim (Thirlby) lacks polished presence demanded of her femme fatale-like role.

However, the advantages are the strong performance by the late John Hurt, in his last screen role as Ari’s cagey boss, Miki. Another upside is Jürgen Prochnow (Das Boot) who provides solid support as an ex-Nazi, Franz Ludin.
