Comcare has announced it will host another series of national forums to promote better work health and safety practices.
It said the forums would give participants an overview of existing and emerging issues across its jurisdiction, which covers about 400,000 employees in Australia.
“The program includes updates from inspectorate and sessions covering prevention, risk management and safety culture,” Comcare said.
It said the forums built on Comcare’s commitment to work with its members for safer and healthier workplaces.
“The forums provide an opportunity for Comcare and work health and safety [WHS] regulated stakeholders to engage and build relationships, and for attendees to gain insight into a range of WHS and Comcare related information,” Comcare said.
It said the forums would be relevant to all members who worked or had an interest in WHS.
Comcare said the forums consisted of a free full-day program and will be held in every capital city and two regional locations.
