Transport Canberra has thrown the doors of its bus open to new drivers to hit the open road.
Calling on people with ‘excellent customer service skills, have a class (C) licence or above, and are available to work a five-day roster and a selection of weekends for a part time role.
“We’re excited to welcome more electric buses to our zero-emissions fleet and eager to expand our bus services to offer passengers a more reliable, efficient and sustainable public transport system,” Transport Canberra said.
“Are you ready for a career change that lets you hit the open road? Want a part time job with great pay? Or maybe you crave a job that contributes positively to the Canberra community?” it said.
“If you answered yes, then don’t miss the bus on this amazing opportunity!”
The Service said its offer was also an exciting opportunity for people those in Canberra’s surrounding regional areas such as Queanbeyan, Cooma and Yass.
“If you have a friendly attitude and enjoy driving we encourage you to apply,” it said.
