Another single from the Viennese brother and sister duo Abor & Tynna displaying the electronic music skills of Attila and the vocal prowess of Tunde.
As I’ve previously stated these two grew up in a musical family with their father being a member of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra.
Although they both studied classical music their careers veered toward the pop world and they are making waves internationally with their brand of electro-pop.
Attila has control of the studio where he weaves soundscapes that are heavy on the bass and contain considerable space while Tunde has just the right understated voice to carry the melody that floats in and around her brother’s compositions.
Borderline is a moody track that opens with Tunde’s treated vocal delivered in almost a whisper before it builds power as the track progresses.
It’s a similar formula to their previous single Anti Ally and I suspect that they are possibly a pair of singles building to the release of an album.
There’s very little information available about the siblings and their musical intensions but I’ve heard enough with these first two tracks to recommend you keep an ear out for their upcoming offerings.
