Director: Jesper Ganslandt. Defiant Screen Entertainment.

Cast: Daniel Radcliffe, Grace Gummer, Pablo Schreiber.

It’s not easy, but Radcliffe is finding his way to get rid of the persona we’ve all come to associate with him. That is, peeling away the shackles of a familiar name and face of the Harry Potter series.

As pilot Sean Haggerty, Radcliffe carries the forceful leading role with skilled ease.

He’s a trusted mule for an international drug Cartel running cocaine across the U.S./Mexico border. However, the Cartel does not know that Sean is also working for the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency.

Sean’s caught desperately in the middle: alone in a small plane, he faces the burden of choosing between his allegiance to the Cartel, his deal with the DEA and saving the increasingly tense relationship with his sick wife, Jen (Gummer). She has no idea what her husband does for a living.

With everything on the line, wedged between the DEA and the Cartel, it’s essential that Haggerty navigate one last mission. Everything is on the line in this thriller. Written by Adam Hoelzel, even the supporting cast give good performances: Grace Gummer (The Homesman, Frances Ha) and Pablo Schreiber (The Wire, Orange Is The New Black), who plays suspicious DEA Agent Bloom.
