About Vanessa Hayden

Vanessa Hayden spent 20 years living and working in the Kimberley Region of WA before relocating in 2012 to Jindera, NSW, to be closer to family. Before joining Region Riverina in 2023 she worked as a writer for The Border Mail and other regional newspapers in SA, Tasmania and Victoria. Her main focus was writing for and producing Albury-Wodonga's Out and About Magazine. She likes gardening and the farm life and keeps the company of horses, dogs, alpacas and chickens and volunteers with various local organisations in Albury and Jindera helping with their publicity and promotions.
