About Michelle Voyer

Michelle Voyer has worked in marine conservation research and management for 25 years. She holds degrees in Marine Science and Arts and a PhD on the social acceptability of marine protected areas, and before becoming an academic worked for ten years in government. She is passionate about looking for opportunities for community and Indigenous input and leadership in the use and management of our marine environments. Michelle is the Keira Endowed Chair in Energy Futures at the University of Wollongong.
