The Australian Public Service Academy has launched its 2022 course calendar revealing it set to offer almost 300 courses this year.

Unveiling the calendar the Academy said it planned to offer courses delivered by centres of excellence across the APS, including the Change Management Intensive from the Change Management Centre of Excellence at the Department of Home Affairs; the Workforce Planning Start Up program from the Australian Public Service Commission’s Workforce Planning Centre of Excellence; and Human Centred Design 101 from BizLab at the Department of Industry, Science, Energy and Resources.

“We’ve also added new learning opportunities for you to apply the skills you learn through our courses,” the Academy said.

“For example, once you’ve completed Coaching and Developing Others you can join our Co-Coaching Circles to practice your coaching skills in a supportive environment with a qualified coach,” it said.

“We are also continually updating our toolkits with resources to support your learning on-the-job.”

The Academy encouraged APS staff members to talk to their managers about their development needs and develop a plan for the year.

It said registrations were now open for courses to 30 June, and the July to December courses would be open for registrations shortly.

The Academy’s 11-page 2022 course calendar can be accessed at this PS News link.
