New PS head starts work
The newly appointed Australian Public Service Commissioner, Peter Woolcott, took up his position in Canberra yesterday (9 August).
The former diplomat has replaced John Lloyd who resigned from the position as from 8 August, 15 months ahead of time.
Mr Woolcott has most recently served as the Prime Minister’s Chief of Staff.
