Forum for gender equity
A Women in Sport forum is being held today (9 August) to examine ways of ensuring gender equity in sport.
Seven speakers will discuss the changing landscape for women and girls in sport and explore future opportunities for how local clubs and associations can adapt to meet the needs of female athletes.
The ACT is a national leader in this area, removing cultural and structural barriers to women and girls getting involved in sport.
The forum will be held from 4.30 pm at the National Convention Centre.
