The Queensland Government Chief Information Office (QGCIO) has announced that the Queensland Government Enterprise Architecture (QGEA) website content is to be moving to the For Government website.
The Office released a statement from the QGEA saying the decommissioning would take place by the end of October as part of a move to support the Government’s single website experience objectives.
“As a result, you will no longer be able to visit a separate website for your QGEA content,” the QGCIO said.
“It will be blended into For Government and displayed alongside existing Government-related content already published on the site,” it said.
“For non-Queensland Government employees, you’ll still be able to log in and access private content in the same way you do now.”
The Office said users might notice that certain functionality would not be available immediately after the migration “but keep an eye out — we are working with the For Government team to ensure the majority of them will be returning over the coming months”.
It said that before the October migration users should check their QGEA user login details to make sure they were up to date.
“There is currently a freeze on all requests for password resets or account updates that will last until 26 September,” the QGCIO said.
“For publishers, there’ll also be a freeze on publishing new content.”
After migration users should ensure their QGEA links and bookmarks were updated for the For Government URLs, it said.
