Newly-elected Prime Minister Scott Morrison has unveiled his first Ministry with a number of new appointments and rearrangements of responsibilities.
Among the senior portfolios, former Minister for the Environment and Energy, Josh Frydenberg is to become Treasurer with his past responsibilities split between new Minister for the Environment, Melissa Price and Minister for Energy, Angus Taylor.
Ms Price was Assistant Minister for the Environment under Mr Frydenberg in the former Government and Mr Taylor was Minister for Law Enforcement and Cyber Security.
Senator Marise Payne moves from Minister for Defence to Foreign Affairs following the resignation of former Foreign Minister Julie Bishop.
The new Minister for Trade, Tourism and Investment is Senator Simon Birmingham who has moved from Education and Training. The new Minister for Education and Training is former Minister for Social Services, Dan Tehan.
Social Services now comes under the Minister for Families and Social Services, Paul Fletcher who moves from Urban Infrastructure and Cities.
Former Minister for Citizenship and Multicultural Affairs, Alan Tudge takes on Urban Infrastructure and Cities.
The Minister for Defence Industry, Christopher Pyne has been promoted to Minister for Defence with the past Minister for Trade, Tourism and Investment, Steve Ciobo replacing him as Minister for Defence Industry.
Responsibility for Home affairs has been divided between incumbent Peter Dutton and new Minister for Immigration, Citizenship and Multicultural Affairs, David Coleman.
Senator Michaelia Cash moves from Minister for Jobs and Innovation to Minister for Small Business, Skills and Vocational Education.
Responsibility for Jobs moves to the former Minister for Revenue and Financial Services, Women and Minister Assisting the Prime Minister for the Public Service, Kelly O’Dwyer who becomes Minister for Women, Jobs and Industrial Relations.
