By Jinjer, Napalm Records 2021/2022.
Jinjer is a Ukrainian Progressive Metal/hardcore Metal band from Donetsk, and they have currently put their careers on hold to support their country in its war with Russia.
As part of that process, they are offering some T-shirts with all proceeds from the sales going to charity organisations to aid the civilian population who have had their lives shattered by the conflict.
Bass player, Eugene Abdukhanov, says:
“As you know there is a war raging through the streets and cities of Ukraine right now.
“Many people have little or no food or water and are very afraid of what tomorrow may bring.”
The band’s initiative has been fully supported by Napalm Records and the band will update donors via social media as to where the money has been allocated.

Jinjer’s latest album, Wallflowers, was released in 2021 and it was the most highly acclaimed album so far released by them.
Hard rock magazine Loudwire ranked Wallflowers at 21 in the Best Rock Albums of 2021.
Australian fans got a taste of some of the new tracks on that album when the band toured here in 2020.
Their Melbourne concert was filmed and released as a live album, Alive In Melbourne 2020.
The entire concert is on YouTube along with official clips for several of their songs.
Jinjer inhabits a crossover area between Prog metal and Death Metal with lead singer Tatiana Shmayluk adept at the most overpowering death metal growls and then almost angelic sweetness, more often than not in the one song.
She certainly has a mesmerising stage presence.
If you want to do something to show your support for the Ukrainian people then this may be a way of doing it.
