That’s fine telling people not to drive their vehicle, (ACCC puts wind up car airbag users) I travel 93 kms to work each day so what I am I supposed to do, buy another car?
I’ve had a letter from Toyota stating that my airbag will not be replaced until December 2018.
It’s not practical for everyone to stop driving their vehicles!

The Health Department has tried hard and been very successful in the area of gender equality but now women outnumber men 7:3 right across the board (Fear factor: Why men have nothing to fear from women’s equality).
I believe that this may not reflect the general trend outside of the Department of Health.
I’ve never been afraid of women’s equality. I have supervised and mentored and actively helped several women do well.
An imbalance in favor of men is definitely bad, and lately I have been wondering whether the imbalance in the opposite direction is also bad. I certainly feel that my (male) voice is muted in important decisions.
And the conversations often generalise men’s behavior and way of thinking as being bad (I let it go, but it hurts, and in some contexts it feels like bullying – a reason for dismissing a valid opinion).
All that aside it would be a pity if the success in relation to women’s equality in the Department leads to the sorts of problems that a predominantly female work force has had in the fields of nursing and teaching for example.
