It’s only been six weeks, but joyful images still capture one’s imagination of the star-studded royal wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle at the iconic St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle in the United Kingdom.
An estimated 1.9 billion people tuned in globally to watch the happy union, in addition to the many who attended the ceremony. A fairytale romance, some might say, but for the newlyweds – now known as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex – 19 May 2018 will be forever memorable.
Before she married and joined the British royal family, the American-born Meghan was a film and television actress. She is one of the stars in Random Encounters.
As Mindy, Markle (TV’s Suits) is the irrepressible roommate of Laura (Wathen), who has a co-lead role.
Misunderstandings and overlooked opportunities abound after two, twenty-somethings have a chance meeting in a coffee shop and sparks fly. Then later they try to find each other again. In this bright romantic comedy, Kevin (Raby) and Laura are in love and both are trying to make it in Hollywood.
With neither able to put the other out of their mind, they set out on parallel searches to find each other. The result is a comical series of awkward errors, embarrassing personal ads, bad timing and narrowly missed chances.
The screenplay by Boris Undorf and Nate Barlow reveals Kevin and Laura as being determined to seal their own fate and ultimately … find true love.
