Springboard to add EOI to its bounce

The Public Service Commission (PSC) is urging Departments and Agencies to use its Queensland Shared Services’ (QSS) recruitment system, Springboard, to manage their expression of interests (EOI).

In a statement, the PSC said previously only vacancies advertised on Smart Jobs and Careers could be managed through Springboard.

“Now this service is available to all Queensland Government Agencies and you should contact us if your Agency is interested,” the Commission said.

“If your Agency has already opted to use this service, visit the Advertise an Expression of Interest Page to get started.”

The PSC said the process would remain the same as other vacancies processed through Springboard.

“However, an internal EOI advertisement will not be published on Smart Jobs and Careers,” it said.

“Candidates can only apply via a link provided to the panel chair; you can distribute this link through your internal channels such as group email, intranet, Yammer etc.”

It said using the service would streamline the EOI process; reduce the risk of applications being lost or missed, and create efficiencies for panel members completing shortlisting and feedback.

“After completing your request to hire (RTH) form, QSS Recruitment will process your RTH within three business days and will send the panel chair and hiring manager a private link for candidates to access the EOI advertisement,” the Commission said.

“The panel chair will use this private link to advertise the vacancy via their Agency’s EOI platform. Then QSS Recruitment will send a unique Springboard access link to the panel chair to manage the vacancy.”

It said candidates would then submit their application via the private link, with applications stored against the vacancy in Springboard.
