A sports drama about two high school brothers who use football to overcome tragedy after not only their mother’s death, but there’s further shock when their father abandons them.

This is a story about family, leniency, compromise and salvation.

All-state high school football player Zach Truett (Stine) is a talented athlete who finds purpose and triumph on the football field in the fictional town of Bessemer, Florida.

He’s working hard to earn a college scholarship as a ticket out of town for himself and younger brother David (Evan Hofer). However, Zach’s dreams come crashing down after he’s sidelined following a damaging knee injury. Instead, his brother competes in track and field.

Despite the setback, there seems to be one silver lining for Zach – he soon develops an unexpected relationship with a young nurse at the hospital. His brother’s unwavering devotion has to be admired.

Veteran actors like Frances Fisher, Mykelti Williamson and Mario Van Peebles provide some dignity and poignant lift alongside the film’s engaging young stars.

It’s American professional baseball player Tim Tebow’s first venture into producing, resulting in a dramatisation with a dose of spiritual motivation.

With a screenplay from director Dowling, Jake McEntire and Jason Baumgardner, the characters have a propensity to shed light on everything while undertaking their treks of faith.
