The Australian Transport Safety Bureau (ATSB) has launched a new survey for stakeholders to help it improve its communication channels.
Announcing the survey, Communications Manager at the ATSB, Paul Sadler said that by taking part in the 10-question survey people could help shape the ATSB’s transport safety messaging to industry, Government and the travelling public.
“Communications and stakeholder engagement are the ATSB’s primary tools that we use to influence improvements in transport safety, and so to understand our effectiveness in these areas is very important,” Mr Sadler said.
“The outcomes of this survey will help to guide the ATSB’s communications and education activities to help improve transport safety across the rail, marine and aviation modes.”
He said safety education was a critical component of the work of the ATSB, as it fostered safety awareness, knowledge and action.
“When you are completing the survey, please ensure that you read all instructions carefully for each question before selecting an answer,” Mr Sadler said.
“At the end of the survey, please click ‘submit’ to ensure your responses are collected.
“Personal information will be collected, stored, used and disclosed in accordance with the ATSB’s Privacy Policy.”
