The Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) has teamed with Griffith University, the Commonwealth Games Federation and the International Council for Coaching Excellence (ICCE) to host the ICCE Global Coaches House during the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games.
Coaches of all levels are invited to register for the five-day development program to be held at Griffith University from 9 April to 13 April.
Deputy Director Performance People at the AIS, Darlene Harrison said a highlight would be keynote speeches from world-renowned coaches Sir Graham Henry and Ric Charlesworth, and the program will also feature workshops, presentations and panel discussions.
She said participants could register for a single day or the full five-day program, with a different theme each day.
Ms Harrison said the program would be a fabulous opportunity for coaches and performance staff to learn, share and connect with a diverse group of national and international sporting professionals.
President of the ICCE, John Bales said the Global Coaches House provided a rich environment for sport coaches to network and learn, with a strong focus on improving their performance and that of their team.
