A peaceful, idyllic suburban community, Suburbicon has affordable homes and manicured lawns. One would think it’s the perfect place to raise a family, and the Lodge family is doing just that in 1959.
It’s unnerving to note the tranquil surface masks a disturbing reality, as Gardner (Damon) moves to navigate the town’s dark underbelly of disloyalty, treachery and violent behavior.
This is a tale of blemished people making regretful choices.
