Following the swearing in of new Cabinet Ministers last month, the Government has finalised changes to some Departments.
The former Department of Communities, Housing and Digital Economy has been abolished with its services now delivered by the Department of Housing, Department of Transport and Main Roads and the Department of Treaty, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Partnerships, Communities and the Arts.
The Department of Housing is headed by Minister for Housing, Meaghan Scanlon (pictured), and includes the Housing and Homelessness Agency.
The Department of Transport and Main Roads is headed by the Minister for Transport and Main Roads and Minister for Digital Services, Mark Bailey and includes the Customer and Digital Group that leads and drives a more digitally-enabled and responsive Government.
It is also responsible for developing evidence-based customer and digital strategies, policies and roadmaps, along with supporting tools, standards and guides to implement them.
It manages the ICT procurement category and promotes an increased spend with small-to-medium enterprises.
The Department of Treaty, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Partnerships, Communities and the Arts is headed by the Minister for Treaty, Minister for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Partnerships, Minister for Communities and Minister for the Arts, Leeanne Enoch and includes the Community Services Agency and Arts Queensland.
