Why not is a logical response if you ask why Mum Jokes? What’s the definition of mum jokes? “Like dad jokes but a lot smarter.”

As accomplished journalist, television presenter and author, Jessica Rowe says her friends think she’s hilarious. “Oh, it’s life-affirming and essential to surround yourself with people who make you laugh and also laugh with you.”

“I haven’t always been a confident joke teller. Why? Well, I’m a shocker at telling longer jokes, as I lose my way and I frequently forget the punchline.” Jessica doesn’t give up when she’s passionate about something.
“Laughing is what I love to do. So, I went searching for short jokes that were easy to remember and that I found funny. This collection of mum jokes is the result of that search.”

Jessica had so many mum jokes they had to be published. There are more than 500 of the world’s greatest, eye-rolling, family-friendly, funny jokes and riddles ready to bring out at any occasion.

Whether its “Why do frogs want to be rappers? – Because they are big into hip-hop” or “What does a pizza say when it introduces itself to you? – Slice to meet you”, there is no shortage of jokes that will either make you laugh or cringe.

We all know about dad jokes but isn’t mum just as funny? Absolutely, she is. She’s running circles around those “lame” dad jokes.

“Let’s hear it for the mum joke! No more boring dad jokes. It’s time for us marvellous, funny, wise, quirky women to claim our place in joke history.”
