The Digital Transformation Agency (DTA) has announced it is to move its Digital Marketplace (DMP) panel to BuyICT.gov.au, a platform ICT buyers and sellers have been using since 2015.

BuyICT recently won the Australian Institute of Project Management Award for Best Government Project .

The move to the new platform will occur in late May.

In a statement, the DTA said DMP users would find the experience similar to what they were used to, with the workflow for initiating a request for a quote or information unchanged.

“The move is designed to benefit users involved in multiple types of ICT procurement, who will now need only a single log-in to access all of their opportunities,” the Agency said.

“This move will also see enhancements made to the platform, as part of the Government’s continuing commitment to streamline whole-of-Government ICT procurement,” it said.

The DTA said these enhancements had been informed by user research and engagement with buyers and sellers, and included features such as a new Opportunities Listing Page with keyword search and advanced filters.

“We will communicate directly with users about the changes in the coming weeks and will be holding information sessions encouraging all users to register on the DTA Eventbrite Page to receive updates about the events,” it said.

“Our customer service desk is available to answer any questions you might have,” the DTA said.
